We're proud to announce the opening of our new Harrogate office
After a fantastic year for Romero, we're pleased to announce the opening of our seventh UK office on Harrogate's Cardale Park.
The new office contributes to our national coverage, joining our other offices across the country in Leeds, Halifax, Stockton, Manchester, Nottingham and London.
Despite a challenging year for brokers and businesses, we were lucky enough to see a year of growth throughout 2020/21, which has allowed us to invest in expanding our reach and being able to offer our famed exceptional services to even more businesses.
We’re particularly proud that this growth has been achieved organically, without any external debt or investment.
We’ve always been focused on adding value to our clients & partners, and delivering personal service whilst nurturing strong relationships has been at the core of this, and we’re proud to say this has seen our retention rate grow again this year seeing us retain over 98% of our client base.
Our CEO Justin said:

The bedrock of this growth and flexibility is all down to our incredible team, and the fact that we have achieved all of this totally organically. Without any external investment or debt, giving us the flexibility to always do what’s best for our clients, not shareholders.”
Our growth is underpinned by an investment in exciting new talent, as we recruit 10 graduates on an all-new trainee programme, we’re committed to creating new jobs in our local area, and contributing to the development of the insurance professionals of tomorrow.
The graduate trainee programme will see a multi-disciplined approach, giving our new team exposure to broking, client relationship management and claims handling across several of our offices, ensuring a breadth of expertise and reflecting our commitment to always delivering the best for our clients.

Simon Mabb was joined by Leeds rugby icon, Kevin Sinfield OBE, at the opening of the new branch. Kevin Sinfield joined us as a partner earlier in 2021, recognising our shared values of resilience, determination and loyalty that we share. More on the partnership is available here.
Also present at the branch opening was Daniel Atkinson, a Romero Insurance Broker Associate Director who will be based at the newly opened Harrogate branch.
